Utensil & Pot Koshering

Pot & Utensil Kashering Station
Temima Parking Lot | Sunday, April 14 | 9:15 - 11:00am

9:15-9:45am:  Express service for those with fewer than 7 items
9:45 - 11:00am Open to all (any number of items to kasher)

  • Please ensure that all items to be Kashered are completely clean, including removal of stickers and residue.
  • Opinions vary regarding the possibility of Kashering items made of glass, plastic, rubber for use on Pesach. Please check with your Halachic authority.
  • We generally cannot Kasher frying pans or pots used for frying with minimal liquid. 
  • We cannot Kasher items used for baking.
  • We cannot Kasher item made of ceramic or porcelain.
  • Our Kashering service includes a boiling and torching center. Please note that many items require localized blow-torching before being placed in boiling water. A trained volunteer will take care of each process.
